changing location, countries and cannot transfer paypal balance

Hi, has anyone had a problem transfering their UK balance to a new UK paypal account in the USA? I set up a US account today and tried to send money from my UK paypal account to my new USA Paypal coount but it refused saying that I cannot send money to myself. I do not know what to do

Hi @pet3250,

I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to transfer your balance from your old account to your new account. If you used the same email address on the old account at some point that you are now using on your new account, the system would prevent the transfer. You can contact customer service to request that the money be transferred from the old account to the new account.
