adding my card to another account did'nt work why ?

"This card is linked to another PayPal account. Please remove the card from the other account or try a different payment method." is the error shown when I try to link my prepaid debit card. I added the card to another account but deleted it from my wallet because I want it on this account, but it still says its linked?
