I tried to withdraw a small payment just now to my bank account. I guess I somehow chose the wrong option, because my Activity log shows "Instant Transfer to PayPal." I don't even know what this means, or where my funds are headed. How can I reverse this or otherwise get the funds transferred to my bank account, as intended?

You must have clicked to add funds from your bank account to your paypal account instead of vice versa.
You would need to wait for the funds to transfer to your paypal balance and then you can click and select the transfer to bank account option to withdraw them again.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
