Visa/Debit card

Hi so I’m new to PayPal and have a question which I’m hoping someone can help me with. So I have a visa/debit card linked to my account which works fine but it comes outta my chequing account. Is there any way that I can choose weather it takes money from my savings account or my chequing account instead of it just automatically pulling from chequing account. I’d appreciate any advice or tips that someone could give me thanks

Debit card is generally associated with your checking account so it will only take funds out of the checking account. If you want to pay with your Saving account, link the savings account to your PayPal wallet and confirm it. Then you may select the savings account as the funding source at checkout.

Now some banks may not let you send money from savings account since it is a 'savings' account so beware of that if PayPal shoots out an error message, chooses another funding source, or the bank declines the payment.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Hi so I tried to link it and it tells me there are to many account from my bank already linked to PayPal so I removed my chequing account so that only debit/visa was linked and tried to link my chequing account again and got the same answer too many accounts already linked to PayPal so I’m guessing that might be the saving account issue you spoke of. So I guess is there anyway to send an etransfer to my PayPal account?
