Transferred money to old card

I transferred my balance to my old card which has expired. Could anyone tell me if PayPal will refund the money to my account? I clicked on my old card by accident and now it’s showing no money available in my paypal account. I’ve just removed my old card to avoid future mistakes. Thanks

If both old and new cards belong to the same ACCOUNT then it should go back ok.
