Stop Paypal from converting Dollars to Pounds

Hi, I receive income in Dollars as well as Pounds. However, I don't want Paypal to apply their conversion rates which are not very good but rather, transfer the currency to my linked bank account as is and for the bank to handle the conversion. This would mean whether it's Dollars or Pounds, it would just be sent to my bank as is.

I've been sat for 30mins since asking a customer service rep this very question. I received some cut and paste reply about how to convert currencies and credit cards. When I explained the above, they appear to have... well... disappeared!

Is there a way to do this, surely you are not forced to use Paypals poor exchange rates?

I'm sorry to hear of the negative experience. 

Regrettably, a bank is linked to an account with a specific currency. All transfers will be converted to the specific currency the bank is registered with.
