Question re phone number.

I updated my phone # on Paypal recently.  I am trying to access some funds that were just sent to my account, but Paypal is sending an access code to my OLD phone #. Please advise.

Did you click on settings (cog next to log out) and then on notifications in the blue band and check the number under there?

Yes, I did that and I was able to update my phone #, I can see that it's been updated. However, when I try to access my funds, and am trying to link my debit card, Paypal sends an access or security code to my OLD number. Please advise.

I apologize. When I try to link my debit card, it tells me I still need info.  When I then try to have funds moved to my bank acct, THEN it sends an authorization code to my OLD number. Sorry about the mix up.

Are the funds showing in your paypal balance or were they sent to that OLD phone number?

If not then best check with c.s. >>

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
