I sold an item about 3 weeks ago and shipped it and on the app I used (depop) it shows that the buyer had purchased the item but I still haven’t received payment on PayPal I’ve contacted the app but I think it’s a problem with paypal

You said the buyer purchased but did they actually pay?
You should never send anything until the funds are showing in your paypal account balance.
Advice is voluntary.
