Payment in CDN - convert to US?

I sold tickets to a Canadian event on Stubhub and their policy is to process payment in CDN dollars.  Will Paypal accept this payment and convert to US dollars or is there something else I need to do? The rep at Stubhub said I would have to open a CDN Paypal account.  What if I don't want to do that?

PayPal will convert to USD either automatically, ask you if you want to convert it or if you have a CDN foreign currency balance within your PayPal balance, will deposit the CDN in the CDN currency balance.
