Payment email received but no money in wallet

Hi,
I received an international payment email and couldnt see the money in my wallet. I had confirmed email address before and did it again to make sure it is not the problem. Immediately, I received an email that the payment was cancelled by the sender. Is this due to a problem with my account or did the seller cancel it really?
