Not receiving debit card confirmation code

My debit card has been charged 1.95 USD for connecting to Paypal. But there is no email or SMS or statement with the word "PAYPAL" along with the code. Do I have to wait until the next working day?

Of you are confirming a CARD then the code shows on your card statement.

Sending you an email would not prove you owned the card you are adding would it.

Takes a few days to appear on  your statement as per link below.

Thanks @kernowlass but then the bank issuing my card would know the code, is that violating privacy issue?

the 4 digit code is not sent to me, not thru SMS and not in the transaction history of my linked card. i'm at loss finding the 4digit code??
