New to paypal

Hey guys sorry to be a pain, I am new to PayPal. I have just sold an item to someone and they have transferred the money it is pending, I just wanted to know is it normal to sent the item first while money pending or get the money before sending the item. I read online that they can cancel payment anytime and am worried when they get the item if they do that. Thanks in advance for any advice given

Buyers can't cancel completed payments, all they can do is file for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described.

If they win then even if the funds are in your bank account Paypal would chase you to refund the buyer and if not limit your paypal account and chase you to pay them back again.

You really should read up on Paypal seller protection before you start selling so you can risk assess your transactions.
