Negative balance and I don't know what to do.

A person on discord contacted me and asked for my help. They asked me to buy something for them from a website with their money because the website they're buying from has a limit on the number of times you can buy, and claimed you can only buy from them 3 times in 72 hours. So this person told me they would give me money to buy this thing they needed and then I can keep the rest, which they said would be around 30 USD. I thought this was really weird, that this person would trust me with this amount of money as a person they barley knew, but I thought I would be alright seeing as I didn't have any balanced in my Paypal account and that earning money for something this simple would be nice. They sent me 200, asked me to buy an item that costed 165, and 35 was left in my account. Everything is good and well and I earned some money! My dumb brain thought so at least... An hour later I open Paypal to confirm everything is fine and I see -165 USD with a ''Add money to resolve your negative balance'' note and the +200 transaction has ''ON HOLD'' next to it. What am I supposed to do in this case? What CAN I do? I tried contacting Paypal but it either directs me to ''recommended threads'' or to this community thing. I know this was a really dumb move, but I do not use Paypal and did not know that refunds were possible even with no balance... What even happens in this case? How does Paypal get it's money back when I have no balance? Is this something I have to care about as a person that doesn't use Paypal? Or can I just forget about it? I have no clue what to do... Guidance please.

Looks like a dispute was filed against you for the $200 paid to you. You are responsible for paying it back if you lose the case. You probably can’t get the money back from the merchant and perhaps the merchant works with the scammer.

The only thing you can do is say that you were scammed and explained what happened with screenshots of conversation. 

Stay off of Discord. That site is weird. lol You are learning a lesson to never do something for someone you do not really know outside of the internet. Even then you’ll need to verify it is them who are really asking you to do it.

If you do not pay it back, PayPal will suspend your account and sell you account to debt collectors which will ding your credit report.

Who do I go to saying I got scammed? If you mean to Paypal can I get a link where I can post screenshots and explanations of the situation as you've suggested? 

Also, how is it decided who wins this ''dispute''?

I'm so lost... I can't do anything else except think about this damned situation that I'm suddenly in... Please provide me with more suggestions on what I can do, I'm really confused and flustered...
