Negative Balance

I have an issue with a negative paypal balance at the moment, and I tried to call yet it seems customer services are closed due to covid atm. I tried to mail as well but I got a message saying that the service wasn't available. 

 

The problem is that I got charged for a payment I made, which was taken out from my bank account. However at that moment, my bank account was withdrawn, so I received the money back from Paypal since the charge wasn't successful. This resulted in a negative paypal balance. A few days later I got charged again, and this time the charge was successful since my bank account wasn't withdrawn anymore, yet my paypal balance did not change. 

 

I didn't notice at first, but I wanted to make a payment using Paypal today, and it seems it now no longer accepts my bank account. That's when I noticed that although the money was taken out, my balance has stayed the same.

If you have failed bank transfer then Paypal automatically keep trying to access those funds to clear your negative balance.
They have already fronted the payment to the seller on your behalf and so want the money owed.

Paypal also automatically applied for the funds but it goes as an echeque and you need to allow up to a week for it to clear through to your balance.


Advice is voluntary.

Did this get cleared up evenually? I'm waiting for my balance to update after a negative balance as well. Thanks!
