Negative Balance - How long to rectify?

Hello, community.

I would very much appreciate some input.

I have a bank card linked to my PayPal and often use this facility. I would like to complete a payment, though this would render my balance negative for 6-7 working days; there are currently insufficient funds on my linked bank account. (Note: this would be 6-7 working days from the date of PayPal's initial attempt to retrieve the funds from my bank account as generally this takes 2-3 working days).

Does this hold any implications for me, or would I simply be able to settle this balance when I am able to (the 23rd of Nov. 2018).
Is there a fee associated with such a situation? Does this affect the usability of my account in any respect in the future?

If it makes a difference, I live in the Netherlands.

Many thanks in advance for any information provided.

Just borrow money from someone until the 23rd instead of bouncing the payment and potentially receiving multiple NSF fees from your bank. PayPal will attempt to present payment 2 more times after the initial attempt. I don't think it will affect your account seriously. You can certainly add money to cover the negative balance in a week for it won't go into debt collections that soon.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

@sharpiemarker Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! Ah, the main issue is that a family member needs a loan. I don't have anyone I can turn to for that money myself. I do appreciate the information, it does seem unlikely that this would hold any implications. My bank doesn't charge for failed payments so that wouldn't be an issue thankfully. If PayPal were to try twice more to remove the payment, it would likely work the second time. Do you know if those attempts are indeed 3 working days apart? Thanks again for your reply!
