My money is still on hold. Will it be released into my bank account, or my paypal account?

Really infuriated with how hard it is to get in contact with PayPal. My ebay sale was completed last week (with positive feedback) and my money is on hold until January 21. When it is finally released, will it be made available in my bank account (which is linked to my PayPal), or will it sit as ‘available’ in my PayPal account? The latter is completely useless to me. I can’t use it if it’s my my PayPal account.

Funds from buyers get paid into your paypal account balance, then its up to you if you want to spend it from there or transfer it to your linked and confirmed bank account.
