My client paid me a deposit for work to be completed. The payment is on hold. I need to gain access to the funds quickly so I can pay my sub-contractor to get the work started. Is there a way to release it sooner than 21 days? Thanks so much for the help. This is only my second transaction using Paypal for business.
If you mark the transaction as processed then the buyer may have the option on their account to mark the transaction as delivery/satisfied. If the buyer confirms this by clicking on the "Confirm Receipt" button, the funds may be released to you sooner ie 7 days after the buyer verifies receipt. This is not always available or guaranteed. If not then sadly its 21 days.
