I have a payment which is on hold however when the buyer goes to confirm the item has arrived and he is happy there is no confirm receipt button for him. I have been waiting over a week now to get this sorted as I would like my money.

If you do not take action to add tracking number or order update status, PayPal will release the funds within 21 days unless the buyer reports a problem.

 

The buyer cannot confirm receipt unless you add a tracking number or update order status first.

 

Sellers/recipients do this to get money sooner:

 

 - Click Activity at the top of the page.

 - Find and click the original payment for the item.

 - Click Add Tracking Info.

 - Select an order status.

 

Note: PayPal releases funds when delivery can be confirmed with courier.

 

Then ask buyers/senders to “confirm receipt” to release funds (may not be available for some countries):

 

 - Click Activity at the top of the page.

 - Find and click the original payment for the item.

 - Click Confirm Receipt.

 - Click Yes to confirm that you received the order.

 

***Not all purchases require receipt confirmation.
