Do you have to confirm your bank account in order to send money to it?

I just linked a bank account recently and I wanted to transfer my PayPal funds to it. Can I do that already? Im afraid that something might happen if I tried to transfer my money to it now

I would confirm it first and make sure the name on your bank account matches the name on your paypal account.
