Hello community! I was told to verify/confirm my debit card by charging me and refunding what they charged just to prove that It's active. Is the refund usually long and not instant? Sorry if this has been asked many times but It's taking its toll on me as I'm getting paranoid.

It's been a very long time since I have had to do this, but it really doesn't matter if the refund is instant. The amount they debit and refund is in pennies, not dollars. It is a very small negligent amount (at least it was when I did it). The literally took out .02 or 2 cents... Even if they didn't refund it, you aren't going to miss it or stress about it taking too long to refund
