It's not possible to cash a check via a Walmart ATM, but it is possible for PayPal customers in the US to cash a check using the PayPal Mobile App. Please review the information at https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/what-is-the-cash-a-check-service-in-the-paypal-app-faq37... to see how to do that.
