Bank account already linked to another PayPal account

Forgive if I’m posting in the wrong place but as treasurer I’m trying to set up a PayPal acc for our club. When I try to add details it says the account is already set up to another PayPal account. Myself or other committe can’t understand as we have all been treasurer at some stage and none of us have set it up. No one would have access to the bank account to do this. Can anyone advise. Thank you.

Hi @Athdara,

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty you're having adding a bank account. Please call customer service by phone so the full bank number can be given safely to a representative, who can search for associated accounts and try to get to the bottom of how the account has been used. To find the right number to call, please click Help & Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website, then click contact us and then call us.
