Almost 2 Weeks wait on bank transfer??! Can someone explain WHY

I tried sending my PayPal balance to my bank account on the May 28th of about $150, the money was first on hold and then was cleared and had a standard waiting time of 1-3 days, after the 3 days it said my transfer was under review and had to wait another 12 hours. After the review was completed they sent me another waiting period of 3-5 days which would end on June 8th. Yesterday was the 8th and when I checked my account it said to expect the transfer by the 10th. I'm confused as to why I've waited so long, almost 2 weeks to transfer $150 to a bank account? . My PayPal account is relatively new and this is my first transfer but I didn't expect the experience to be so bad. The money is being transferred to a Canadian bank so I'm not sure if it usually takes longer. I'm to expect the money tomorrow so I hope the time period does not change but does anyone know why it takes so long?

Asking to why? won’t really speed up the process but if you look at the calendar it technically is 13 days with 2 weekend days, so it actually will take 9 working days. With money on hold and security checks it is not that long to be honest.

You have a Jamaican paypal account so its very unlikely you can add / confirm / withdraw to a Canadian bank account.

You can't add a local bank account in your country.
You can only withdraw via requesting a check UNLESS things have changed recently.
The only exception is you can add and withdraw to a U.S bank account. This is because Paypal is a U.S company and you can add their bank account to most other countries paypal accounts.
