I have had to issue a refund through eBay and they have taken the money from my PayPal account. I have gone on to my PayPal account to now see a negative balance. I have followed the instructions and tried to add money, however it keeps failing. When the refund is issued will PayPal take the money out of my linked current account automatically as I have a direct debit with them? Any help and advice would be appreciated as I’m so confused and I’m trying to do everything right!
Leave it a few days as paypal will probably attempt to take it again from your bank account, if you send funds to your balance as well you may end up with x2 payments transferring. Although if that happens the second to arrive will be added as a + credit to that balance.
