Bill Me Later Unbelievable

Long story short, a $52 transaction was billed to my checking account on Paypal (correct transaction) and at the same time a duplicate transaction (the wrong one) to Bil Me Later, which at the time I didn't even know existed.  After 20+ phone calls, talking to management at Paypal twice, Bill Me Later who knows how many times it is supposedly up to over $200 and climbing.  Yeap, all for a service that I didn't use, they know it.

So the last call, last week from Bill Me Later, the person I spoke with said to go to the website of the service I didn't use twice (Football training camp for my ONE son), tell them what happened and they would surely refund the money to Bill Me Later.  Weeeeeelllllll they say:

Unfortunately, the issue will need to be addressed by Paypal. We have no control over that.  Bill Me Later is a service that Pay Pal provides and any transactions with credit cards is handled by Paypal. There is nothing we can do on our end. We can call Paypal and ask how we can assist. But, a refund can not be issued and we have no control over transaction issues.

So once again here I go with emails, phone calls and the hold times of 30+ minutes etc....

My recommendation is to never use PayPal, or Bil Me Later as they seem to get you on the hook and refuse to let you off, EVER.  My initial title was going to be Hotel California.
