If you have a negative amount with a PayPal branded credit product, in a couple of billing cycles PayPal will mail you a cheque for that amount. Probably in the second billing cycle, there would be a line item in your statement activity that says a credit is refunded and that's when they mail a cheque to you which may take up to 2 weeks or so to process and arrive in the postie.
