completely locked out - no way for me to access my acount!

Help - I went for a PW reset and the message returned was something akin to try later, something wrong at our end.

 

Next I tried creating a new account and linking it to my existing account, and it then stated it had ran into a problem, a similar message 'something went wrong'.

 

I'm beginning to get really concerned because there is literally no option to contact customer service unless you log in. Which I cannot do. I'm fairly sure I have money in my account and don't understand why there is no option for me to:

 

a) reset pw or;

b) create new account, link to old account or;

c) contact suport to help me

Just to clarify how I've managed to write the above request for help in the community -

 

I believe I am logged in under my wife's account. I could find no option to contact PayPal or seek support without logging in.

 

If you are locked out of your account I simply cannot find a way to seek help without logging in with another account.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
