Cannot login due to changed mobile/cannot contact Support

Hello, I believe many people are affected by this, so am I. I have a new number, which I need to somehow add/update in my Paypal account. However this is not possible, because of the below problems: 1. I have to be logged first in order to access your account-which is fine, however since the previous number is no longer available this is not possible. 2. I did tried accessing the account from the app (as eventual workaround) however this is also not possible, because I didn’t use the app until now and when I downloaded it and I’ve tried to login, it also requires to confirm the code via: a) SMS sent on the previous old number, which is no longer valid/existing b) call at the same old number, which is no longer valid/existing 3. I did try several times (also as suggested by other Community members) to change the password because if I do so, I MAYBE allowed to skip the phone authentication. This step 3 I repeated several times, however it is still not working for me and it’s still asking to confirm my old number. 4. I cannot also leave a message, because it’s still asking to login first and then only to leave a message. 5. I’ve tried to get in touch with someone from Support in Facebook however the only response I get there is from a chat-bot repeating same and the same and telling the option to chat live with a real chat agent is not available. Any ideas how to solve this?? Or how to contact Support either via email or via phone?

Try:
1. Downloading the app to see if it will let you in to change / update it in the settings.
2. Log on via developer.paypal.com, go to paypal.com and change it in settings.
3. Use the forgotten password option several times.
4. Trying another browser that may let you in without phone verification (then change it when you have logged in).
5. Trying again another day when sometimes you can get in without doing the verification and then change the number.
6. Changing the password a few times sometimes works as it can bypass the phone verification.
7. Try clicking on P top of the forum page and see if you can log in via the forum.

If that does not work then you would need to contact customer services so that they can i.d. you another way and then add your new phone number to your account.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones are slowly re-opening and increasing in numbers (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.

4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
