putting a donate button in email

I am trying to put a donate button in email for a cause and it says to copy the code to the code? What does that mean?  I can't seem to get the button to show up I can get a bunch of code to show up in email and that will direct people but the button doesn't show.

Hello stoller63,

Welcome to the Forums.

Once you create your Donate button you would copy and paste the code from the email tab in the last step to your email. The email link will show as a line of code you can click on to be redirected to PayPal. If you would like an image to show up  in your email you would have to insert the image and then insert a hyper-link. I hope this helps.
