Donate Now button works and then stops working for no reason

We are having an issue VERY frequently where we create a Donate Now button from PayPal take the code generated and put it on a web page on our site.  It will work for a day or so then just magically stop working.  When someone clicks on the button it does not take them anywhere.  No changes are made to the page between when it was workiing and when it stops.  It is very frustrating.   Anyone else seeing this behavior or have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

It sounds like the HTML button code may be getting striped, causing the button to not function properly. Depending on what software you are using may cause this to happen. If you would like, reply with the software you are using and I can look into this for you.
