I'm unable to delete my original post. I figured it out.
I simply hadn't scrolled far enough down to reveal the pay button when I manually created a shipping label for a package not tied to an order. I tried first to select "print label' from the dropdown, figuring that I'd get charged when I printed the label. But the message I got was that I couldn't create labels for manual orders. So I never scrolled down to see the pay button. I'm not sure why I was given that message. I was using the Multi-order shipping tool.
Anyway, all seems fine now. Is it possible to delete this entire post?
