Unable to Login with Passkey

I was able to create a Passkey from the PayPal mobile app and saved it to my iCloud Keychain. When I try to login with the passkey with Safari on the desktop, PayPal prompts me to login with my passkey but then Paypal returns the message "Passkey isn't working right now. Log in another way".  I am based in the U.S. and using the latest version of macOS/Safari (Sonoma). I also tried logging in to PayPal with Mobile Safari and the same thing happened. 

 

Why is this happening?

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble logging in with your Passkey. I recommend trying to clear your App's cache in your phone's app settings and ensuring that all devices and applications are up to date. If that doesn't help, I might try removing the Passkey and recreating it by following the steps on our Help Center here. As a last resort, you might need to reach out to Customer Support to have it investigated further.
