Olivia, thanks for your reply but this is obviously not the answer we want. What happens if I delete my PayPal account? Does ALL of my data get deleted? I've been thinking about doing just that and this annoying problem is yet another reason to do so.

I am happy to help you with your inquiry about your data after closing your PayPal account. Once you close your account, your data will be erased from the system by the retention period. More information about the data erasure time frame can be found in our privacy policy at the bottom of our PayPal page.
