PayPal inaccurately displays old address for bank cards that the bank has correct new address for

I am willing to put up with a lot when trying to get an actual answer, and as the prepared script from PayPal does not answer my question at all I'm here to ask in the community.

The directions for changing my address for my bank card(s) are not correct. There is "no there, there" in other words. I'm very disappointed.

They changed my primary address, sure because that worked just marvelous.

There is no way I can find in my settings for changing the wrong address, since we moved.

The bank has our new information, so it isn't because the bank is fouling up the process.

 

I'm willing to remove my cards and reenter them, but really now, that brunt force option does not match what PayPal claims is the process.

So must I remove and reenter my bank cards linked to payments?

 

Thank you. I appreciate the help. I could not readily find an answer to my query elsewhere. Perhaps I am having a senior moment.

Thank you for posting your first question in the PayPal Help Community and welcome!

 

Sorry to know that you're not able to update your address for your cards in your PayPal account. As PayPal is country specific, you can't change your address to a country that is different from the country you used when you opened your account. if you've moved to a different country, you need to close your existing PayPal account and then open a new PayPal account in the country you are now living. If this is not the case, you can update your card information by following the steps listed here.  If the issue persists, please contact the support team to look into this further.

PayPal still refuses to allow me to change my address for the bank cards.

 

I am finding this situation to be beyond my ability to comprehend. If there is no solution, maybe I need to just quit PayPal and go online and explain to others what the major malfunction with a simple request has been.

 

To not be able to change my address, despite PayPal saying that I can do so, is beyond failing in customer service. So, I'm still confused.

 

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, the problem is not with your instructions but the failure of PayPal to complete the transaction.

 

Again, thank you. Apparently, I will have to make up my mind on how to respond to PayPal's lack of response.
