How do I transfer funds from my bank account to my PayPal Account?

I am trying to issue a refund to a client, but there are not enough funds in my PayPal Account, although it is linked with my debit card & account at the NATIONAL Bank of Greece (NBG)...Why is it not pulling from that to make the refund? WHAT MUST I DO TO ADD FUNDS TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT?

When you click on transfer below your balance does it give you the option to add funds from a linked and confirmed bank account (not a debit card)?

If so then you can add the funds to your balance but it may take 5-7 days.

However if you have a linked and confirmed bank account (not card) then if you click on 'refund' and there is not enough in your balance on your paypal account then paypal normally auto deduct it from your link bank account.
