Hello, as of about 3 days ago I cannot send money. Every time I go to send money, it says they need a quick security check. Every time I choose a “text” I do not recieve it. When I choose “call” on the other hand, it goes straight to a screen which says “sorry, we can’t verify it’s you” without even giving me a call. This is very frustrating as it was working fine a few days ago. I have metro pcs as my carrier, hope that helps. Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

SMS code/OTP Issue not fixed as of May 21, 2022 @ 1032PM PHT time. Spoke to cust care Paypal PH - got a ticket on the ongoing issue they are having
CSTS-0016867 - Not able to receive any sms code
Only affect PH customer as per agent.
The ticket # is internal so it is not publish in any social media, but I got permission from agent I can post in any forums.
ticket status is still ongoing. NO ETA when it will get resolved. Will have to wait for another 24 hours and see if anything changes.

Hello @BinoYanEh I tried calling customer support but only got scheduled for a callback, and never received a callback 😭 I got scheduled twice already.
Did you call them with free call?

Hi , not sure what number you got to call PayPal customer care but this is the number I got 1 [Removed] It is not toll free - and it is a US number. Customer Service Hours of Operation: 6:00aAM PT to 6:00 PM PT Monday through Sunday (that is 9PM to 9AM PHT) the IVR will prompt you for a code You can say "i dont have one" (note if the IVR will ask your for the last 4 digit of your SSN) just give them any number then it will ask for your 10 digit mobile number - start with 0917XXXXX then IVR cannot verify your number. It will ask what do you need you just Customer Service then it will ask again what you need you say Customer Service and then they will transfer you to real person. Once you talk to someone try checking first if they can support you since the agent you will be talking to only support US and Canada customer. If the 1st agent cannot help you ask them to transfer you to PH Paypal (no direct number to PH Paypal and their office hours is the same as above.) As of today May 22, 2022 @ 9AM OTP issue is still not resolved on PAYPAL end.

@micmic0000 Hi! I was only able to talk to a bot. The bot then scheduled me for a callback because customer support is busy, but never got that callback.
I also chatted with a support, but was never able to help me. Support scheduled me again for a callback and again, never got a callback.
Is there any news when will this be resolved?
