Is there any way to change my name on pay-pal to one that isnt listed on government ID

I've recently start transitioning, and changing my name legally costs quite a bit and pay pal requires i change my profile name to one listed on government ID, however since i haven't legally changed my name i dont have any of that, is there any way to fix this?

Unfortunately not, to change the name on a paypal account you would need legal i.d to show its been changed.

This sadly does not help folks in your situation.
