I am not receiving any SMS verification messages from PayPal.

Hello there,

I am not receiving any SMS verification messages from PayPal.

This issue occurs with my primary French number (+33), and I also tried with my Thai number (+66).

Nothing works. I have followed the instructions provided on PayPal's website for this issue.

This problem only happens with PayPal; I receive other SMS messages without any problem on both numbers.

We are sorry to hear that you are unable to receive SMS to login to your PayPal account. Kindly reach out to our customer support team to get a help accessing your account. Please reach out to the Support Team during business hours by clicking the Contact option at the bottom of PayPal page and do reach us via phone and kindly select "Call us as Guest". By selecting this option you will not require to login to your account and able to connect to our support team.

Make sure you are not using a VPN 

• Reboot the phone to refresh the network signal.

• Clear phone inbox to ensure it is not full (for old phones with limited SMS capacity).

• Check if there are any phone applications/settings that are filtering SMS added recently.

• Alternatively, you may swap the SIM to another phone to verify if the delivery issue is phone related.

• Check if you are in roaming.

Check with the network provider as some may block the notifications coming in. If the issue persists, please reach out to customer support through the available contact options on the website.
