How to remove or edit old shipping addresses for my contacts?

I have multiple old addresses for some of my contacts that I want to update. For example, I buy some item, pay via PayPal, and want it shipped to my sis (who moves often). How do I clean up that list of old addresses? PayPal keeps sending me to MY address. The only time I see this list is when I’m doing a transaction like the one above.

Well this sucks. I have an address which doesn't appear in my list of addresses (under my account settings) yet whenever I make a payment I get an email with that address on it. It's an old address so I want to remove it. I see the comments about having to call Paypal, but I don't live in the US so it's an international toll call for me and due to the time-zone difference I would probably have to call at some crazy hour of the morning. I see they have removed any possible support using email or a "contact us" webform as well.

As of 24/09/2024, the issue is still present. My account only has one address in the PayPal settings, which is also the primary one. But when checking out on several websites, the list of delivery addresses is very long. Concerning.

I have phoned Paypal twice today and no one understands what I am talking about. I even said "hidden gift addresses" and "old shipping addresses" but they don't understand. What am I supposed to say for them to understand what I am talking about? I told both people that when I go to pay for something through Paypal and need to change my default shipping address to my residential address, a whole heap of addresses show up but they still didn't understand. All I can think of is deleting my Paypal account and creating a new one. Why does everyone EXCEPT for Paypal understand this?

Same issue with me -- the Paypal checkout flow defaulted to an address that I no longer live at and it was a huge headache to try to get the address changed (spent a couple hours with the shipper support and courier support and ended up getting it sent back to the warehouse)

I called in to Paypal support to remove the deprecated addresses in the checkout flow but they were unhelpful (e.g. repeated back to me the addresses in the main Settings page and that there were no other addresses present. Then they wanted to send confirmation for those addresses for no reason)

Still can't delete shipping addresses online. Don't want to call and discuss it with a CSR. Just let us manage our account properly.
