How to close my account with small balance

I would like to close my paypal account, which carries a small balance (less than $5). But the min requirement for transfer it to my bank account is $10. Is it any solution to close the account, even do not receive the small balance.

Firstly can you 'send' the funds to a mate or family member?

Secondly if not then ask a mate or fm to 'send' you a payment to make the balance up to the minimum so you can withdraw it.

Make sure you allow for the fee element so that they send enough to make it up to the $10?

In my case, the problem is not the minimum amount I can transfer to my bank. It is instead a $10 balance that does not accord with my financial transactions. I find this happening on two different accounts. It appears to be an effort to stop PayPal account closures without first requiring divulging bank account information that PayPal does not have and which I DO  NOT WANT TO DISCLOSE FOR THE SAKE OF CLOSING AN ACCOUNT.

THE $10 IS NOT MINE, AND DPAYPAL KNOWS THIS. IT IS THERE BECAUSE OF SOMETHING DEVIOUS THEY HAVE DONE TO STOP PEOPLE FROM CLOSING THEIR ACCOUNTS. THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS TO ANY NORMAL USER AT LEAST. PRESUMABLY, THE GREEDY USER WILL GO THROUGH THE TROUBLE OF LINKING THEIR ACCOUNT TO A BANK ACCOUNT TO CLAIM THE $10. HAVING DONE SO, THERE IS DOUBTLESS A PERCENT OF THESE USERS WHO THEN DECIDE NOT TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT. 

I DO NOT WANT THIS 10 DOLLARS. I EVEN TRIED TO DONATE IT TO MY "FAVORITE CHARITY"

WHY CANNOT YOUR CORPORATION DO BUSINESS MORE HONESTLY? PLEASE CLOSE THE LINKED ACCOUNT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. AFTER SEEING THIS LEVEL OF INTEGRITY AT PAYPAL. I AM MORE CERTAIN THAN EVER THAT THERE IS A VERY REAL DANGER OF THEM BEING HACKED.

A YOUTUBE WILL FOLLOW IF THIS BECOMES AS NIGHTMARISH AS I FEAR.  PLEASE CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. PLEASE. I AM ASKING NICELY. The text of this message has been saved.
