How do I deactivate my business account?

I know how to deactivate my account and I have tried to do that, but it won't let me because I need to enter all the requirements for a PayPal Business Account. I didn't even mean to create my account that way in the first place. It won't let me create a new account for regular transactions until my "business" one is closed. I am new to PayPal, so I can see how I made the mistake but I am getting frustrated on how to fix it. Is there a way it can be forced to close? I really want to close this inconvenient account that I didn't even mean to make in the first place. Please help me.

If you don't have any limitations on it then you could contact customer services to downgrade or close it for you?

 

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
