Thank God I have a sense of humor, and can laugh at my disadventures.
A few hours ago I was asked by PayPal to review my contact information.
I was dumb enough to accept.
I saw that my current cell phone number is correctly listed.
I saw that another number is also listed, but I didn't remove it, as I wasn't sure which one it might be.
Little did I know that henceforth PayPal would insist on sending me 2FA codes to that other number.
This makes no sense at all.
The default number was the other one, that's where I received all my 2FA messages all the time including several last night.
I am now completely locked out of my account.
And I can't even message them since they insist on getting a code I can't retrieve even just to let me message them.
I am going to call them as soon as I can retrieve my SIM card from my NightHawk Router (in 2h or so).
Is there anything I can do in the meantime?
Just in case this isn't a **bleep**-up, but someone actually added their cell phone.
Thank you!
