How Do I Update Nationality on PayPal?

I originally set up my PayPal account in the UK in 2013 when I was an Indian national. Now that I've become a British citizen, I noticed there isn't an option to update my nationality on the platform. I can modify my passport number, but not my nationality. How can I address this issue?

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum! Sorry for the confusion on updating your nationality in PayPal. The nationality is set from the country you registered your PayPal account in. Unfortunately, there's not a way to change your country of residence in your PayPal account. We recommend withdrawing any funds in your old account and closing it down, then opening a new PayPal account with your new information in your new country of residence.
