Updating Phone Number

Hello, 

I would like to know how can I update my phone number if now I live in UK and my paypal account is made in another country. I cannot even log in into my account as they ask me after password to do that security check with the message on the phone which is from the other country that is not available here. How can I update my phone number if I cannot access my account even if I have all details because paypal doesn't have other options. 

Long time ago, I contacted someone from their support and they said they cannot help me as I don't have access to phone number and they asked me security questions with details from years ago which is obviously I cannot remember.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

Thank you for answer but paypal still do something wrong or outdated as we do not have the option to open a new account with that same email. I understand they don't want that many accounts under the same email but at least to transfer the details or something ? Why now I should make a new email for a new paypal? If I would be able to just change the phone number I could use paypal very easy.

Try opening a bank account with the same number as your previous bank account and that would be daft wouldn't it.

As a paypal email address or mobile number identifies a paypal account then you can't have them identify 2 accounts at the same time can you.
