Receiving payment to secondary email, is your primary email still visible to the payer?

I would like to use my secondary email to receive donations associated with an IGN/Streaming name. I would prefer for my real name and information to not be shared with those kind enough to donate; so I added my IGN email as a secondary. If i use this secondary to register with a stream donation service, for example, I do know that payments will go to the appropriate place- but I am unsure WHICH email of mine and what other information might be visible to the donator. Preferably, the email I give the service should be the email that the donors see; and only that info. Thanks for any guidance; i would prefer to not have to make an entirely separate account with its own extraneous security risks.

Hello @CoffeeCup4,

Welcome to the PayPal Community, this is a great question. You can have up to 8 different email addresses active on your account at the same time to receive payments. However, the sender will see the same information for all of them as they are attached to the same account. With that in mind, if you do not want your senders to see your first and last name, I would suggest creating a Business account. Here are a few resources you may find useful here:

What is the difference between Personal and Business accounts?

How do I update my business name on customers' credit card statements?

Just keep in mind, these are not actual donations, so I wouldn't recommend setting up the account as a non-profit organization. Users sending payments during or after your stream is normally considered an exchange of funds for a service. When you're setting up your business account, you'll want to find the option for Cable, Satellite and Other Pay Television/Radio/Streaming Services under the individual category.

Hope all that helps,
