PayPal approved my name change but won't fully integrate it?

I had my legal name changed on my PayPal account several years ago. I submitted the appropriated documents, got it approved, and got my correct name put on my homepage. For some reason, though, my old name still appears in emails or if I try to make a paypal.me. Even when I tried to make a community account, it addressed me as my old name. I'm not sure if it's showing my old name to other people or just me. I haven't gone by my old name in almost 8 years, so this is incredibly frustrating. It seems like PayPal is never fully integrated my name change despite approving it many years ago.
Does anyone else have this problem or know what to do?

Welcome to the PayPal community and thank you for your post.
In this situation, the best thing to do would be to contact our Customer Care department. You can do this by going to the ‘Contact Us’ link at the bottom of every PayPal page. You will then see what contact options are available to you.
