Locking my personal email is an insult

Hi this is crazy. My personal email has been locked by Paypay for 10 years because it was linked to my business account that ceased trading when i retired. I have been told that Paypal cannot unlock my personal email and that I must now create a new email just to meet their requirements and notify all my existing email contacts banks etc. Something seriously wrong here...any tips on how to resolve please, otyherwise I will have to wait until I am 86 yrs old before making another Paypal transaction

well, I only have 1 email so why should I be forced to sign up to another when all it takes is a simple admin on the part of Paypal to delete the business account and free up the personal email for personal use. I cannot even delete the account
