Sorry, we couldn’t confirm it’s you
Need a hand? 
This note came after I didn't get for 2 hours sms for secure code. I am trying to login by any means on contact and help centre and I can't. I need immediate assistance

I have cleared history and cache, I have tried incognito browser, I have tried everything.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

So basically I can't do anything with PayPal outside my country? So Will this note disappear ( or what do I need to do when I come back to make PayPal let me log in). I cant send any questions or log in to the help centre besides this forum. 

 

Now I have this issue: https://www.paypal.com/authflow/verification-failed/

This issue is result of not getting sms on my mobile.

You need to close your old paypal account and register one in your new country with your new address / phone / financial information etc.

I don't want to do that. I am here for a few days. Why would I do that?  I want to be able to login into my own country when I came back. I don't know what is misunderstood here, but I cant login anywhere! How can I close anything if I cant log in?

Well as you stated ''I am now in another country'' then I presumed you had moved countries, why would I think otherwise if you didn't state you were on holiday internationally?

 

In that case stop using Paypal until you get home is the easy answer, Paypal is country specific and should not be used internationally. That is why they are not confirming its you as you are not using your phone in your own country.
