Deleting my account

I moved to another country and need to delete my account so that I can create a new one in the new country. 

whenever I try and delete my account, it redirects me to a "contact customer services/support" tab. I cannot contact customer support as there is only a phone number available and as I am in another country, I can't call customer services. 

I tried contacting them through Facebook, which was, unfortunately, a slight waste of time. I've also tried adding another email address so that I can use my primary email on the new PayPal account but that also redirected me to a customer service page. 

I am at my wits end and just want to delete my account, how can I do this? 😞

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.....however as that help would not be in the correct country as your account they may not be able to help you either.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

 Once a PayPal account is closed, it cannot be reopened. You can open a new account under the same email address, but all transaction history for the old account will be lost

They know that, they are trying to close it as they have MOVED COUNTRIES.
