Adding a new user to our non profit business account doesn't work?

Hello, 

 

I'm trying to get myself added to our non-profit's PayPal account. 

 

The admin sends me the invite, I go through the onboarding process where I enter the verification code, then enter a new password. But at the end of that, it just re-directs me to my personal PayPal account. (which also is a business account for myself). 

 

Is what we are trying to do possible? Thanks for any advice.

Welcome to the PayPal Community and thank you for your post!
 

I do understand your concern with this. An email address can only be used once on PayPal's system. If you have your own PayPal account with your email address, then you would need to use a different email address to be added as a user.

 

I would suggest you ask the admin to add you as a user again, but make sure they use an alternative email address this time. 

 

I would also advise you to clear your cache and cookies before opening the invite. If the system picks up that you have another PayPal account, it may urge you to log in.
